Can't open recurring meeting

Mark

I have a secretary who has, for years, viewed the Calendar of her boss as
well as other employees for scheduling purposes. We recently upgraded
everyone's computer to faster hardware as well as Outlook (from XP to 2003).
All appropriate pemissions are in place, but now the secretary cannot view
recurring meetings when looking at someone else's Calendar in Outlook. She
has no problems if the meeting isn't a recurring one. When she tries to
open the recurring meeting she gets an error message that states: "Can't
open this item. The object could not be found". I can open it, however,
from the owners mailbox. Again, this is not a permissions issue - she has
been viewing these for years and the problem is only with recurring
meetings.

I have already uninstalled/reinstalled Outlook and Office as well as deleted
and recreated her Outlook profile. We are using Exchange 2003 with Outlook
2003. Any ideas?

You may want to try clearing the forms cache.

If you close outlook
Perform a FIND (click on desktop and press <F3>)
(If you are using XP or W2K operating system be
sure to look in hidden files)
Look for FRMCACHE.DAT file.
Delete it from the find window.
Restart Outlook.

When you restart Outlook it will rebuild a fresh new
FRMCACHE.DAT file.

Outlook uses forms for everything. Sometimes these
get corrupt and need to be rebuilt.
