Can't Open Program Files - Registry Error?

Hey Guys:

I posted a message last night and Kelly told me to go
into Kellys Koner and follow instructions...save Reg file
to hard drive...Iwasn't able to do this? Any other
suggestions....I can use internet but can't open any
program files...although Office XP works fine...can't use
Outlook either??? please help I've spent hours and hours
on this and can't find a solution. I've done full
scan...virus scan...etc. and to no avail.

If you have spent hours on this with no luck, it's time to do a Repair
Install. Since you didn't quote any of your previous messages or post
to the same thread, I can't tell what you have or haven't done aside
from trying Kelly's reg file. Boot with your XP CD and choose "install"
and then when Windows finds your installed system, choose "repair". If
that doesn't do it for you, you'll need to format the drive, clean
install Windows, restore data from backups.
