Can't open PDF attachments in Outlook 2003

I've installed Acrobat 6 (twice) to try to correct the problem and run repair on Outlook to no avail. Every time I try to open a PDF, I get the following error message:
"The system cannot find the file specified".

Any help is welcome! Thanks.

Try emptying your Temporary Internet Files folder. If that doesn't work,
specifically empty the Outlook cache. With Outlook closed, open a command
line prompt and enter

cd %USERPROFILE\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
dir

Find a folder named OLKxxx, where "xxx" will be some string, like "41A".
then enter

cd OLKxxx
del /s *.*

and answer "Y" to the prompt. Exit the command line window and restart
Outlook. Try the attachment again.
