can't open multiple windows with IE 6.0

I can't get IE to open a second connection (window) on my
PC

Also, can't get links to work from programs like AOL to a
new website.

When my laptop is connected to the same router, it works
fine, so I know the network is OK

any ideas?

OK, first start up IE and click Tools | Options. Then
click on the "Advanced" tab and go down to the option
which has the words "Enable ASP" or "Disable ASP" and
check or uncheck the box. Finally, restart your PC
