Can't open more than one instance of IE Explorer

This is very frustrating. All of a sudden, I cannot have more than one IE
Explorer window open at one time. If I try to open an additional instance,
then it merely overwrites the current instance. This is true no matter how I
try to open an additional window.

I did not knowingly change any setting. And I cannot for the life of me
find an answer anywhere.

Please help. Thanks

Well, I went and disabled all the Yahoo and Google add-ons under the Internet
Options Programs Tab, and it magically solved my problem.

Don't know why, but maybe it will help someone else.

Both are known common causes of this type of problem. As you have found,
once disabled, your system works as it should.
