can't open ie6

I try to open ie6 but I can't. And got error message.

error signature
AppName: ieplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106 ModName: webband.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0000b70d

My OS is Win2000pro
Anyone knows how to solve it?

The DLL is from a program called Whistle Stop. It is a BHO for IE.
Under C:\program files\whistlestop you should find the uninstaller
file to remove the program.
