Can't open google.com

I can't open google.com Haven't been able to for about 2 days now. This is
the only site I can't open (wierd huh?). I have checked every thing I can
think of... ad blocking software, security settings, privacy settings, etc.
Any help out there?

Wow, I'm glad I'm not the only one going crazy! For the
last three days, I've been having the same problem, not
only with google.com, but also Yahoo. In the latter
case, I can get to the Yahoo.com page, but darned if I
can execute a search after typing words in a field.
Please someone help!
