Can't open folder properties

Hi:

I am logged with administrator privileges in a windows
2000 professional but i can't view the folder properties
nor the c: hard disk nor the folders.

How i can solve this issue?

I found that using the current free download version of ZoneAlarm causes
this problem. The problem went away after I uninstalled ZoneAlarm. I
didn't try the pay version to see whether that might act any different.
Although ZoneAlarm seems to have some nice features and capabilities, any
product that triggers such an obvious problem right off the bat is not going
to get me to pay good money for it.
