Can't Open Database when in Use

The database is on a server. When I open the database, Rhonda can't
open it. However, when everyone else is on it, she has no problem
opening it. She says there are no errors, just that nothing happens
when she clicks on the shortcut. Also, I am not opening databases
exclusively.

When you are on can the others beside Rhonda open the database? If not, then
you may be unintentionally holding the database in exclusive mode.

Do you open the database the same way as the other user's?
Is your database split? Tables part of database on server and queries,
forms, reports and etc are on each user's machine.

Are you opening and is Rhonda opening the database via a Front-end as well
as the other users?

Actually, we just figured out yesterday, that it happens when i'm not
on as well. The database is not split. Probably should be.
Nonetheless, this same thing happened to me when I started here, and
there was a simple fix for it, but I can't remember what it was.

Any ideas?
