can't open attachments.

Since I have updated my Outlook Express a few months ago,
I have had trouble opening up any attachments. When a
message is sent to me with an attachment, most of the type
this message appears"OE removed access to the following
unsafe attachment.....". The bad thing is that I know who
is sending me the attachments and they have never sent me
any bad ones. Is there any way that I can remove OE from
being so picky with my attachments so I can start opening
them? :) Help! Melissa

And in all those months you haven't bothered checking the options in OE,
to see if one or more of the thousands of KB articles at
http://support.microsoft.com/ are applicable, or to first search the
newsgroups to see if your question has already been asked and answered?

Also, this newsgroup is not for Outlook Express which is an e-mail &
news client and a component of Internet Explorer. Outlook is a PIM
(personal information manager) with e-mail and is a component of Office.
Outlook and Outlook Express are not the same product, they are not code
derivatives, they are not siblings, and they are not full and lite
versions of the same product. They are two separate and distinct
products. Repost your inquiry in a newsgroup for Outlook Express. If
your news server doesn't carry newsgroups for Outlook Express than use
Microsoft's news server (news.microsoft.com). If you prefer a web
interface to newsgroups, use Google Groups (http://groups.google.com) or
Microsoft's groups (http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/).
