Can't open additional windows of IE

up until yesterday no problem then all of a sudden 3 of
the 4 open windows closed. I can still search and do
everything I want in the one window that will open, but
whenever I attempt to open another widow, the current one
closes and/or it is redirected instead of a new window
opening.

Anyone help me?

Please check to see if any third-party applications are causing this (look
to see what you have got installed and disable/uninstall any you think could
be interfering with IE) and do a complete virus and spyware scan of the
system. If the behavior is still there after all that, uninstall and
re-install IE
