When im trying to open a database, i have this error message

"You don't have the necessary permissions to use the GMD_APP.mdb object.
Have your system administrator or the person who create this object
establish the appropriate permissions for you"

How can i open it ?

Thanks

Jac

It sounds as if Access Security has been applied to the file. You'll need
the System File (*.mdw) that was used to create the secured mdb and a user
name and password.

Open Access, and select Tools... Security. Select the Workgroup
Administrator and Join the workgroup .mdw file associated with GMD_APP
- probably GMD_APP.MDW in the same folder, though it could be some
other name or location, depending on how the developer set it up.

Now when you open the .mdb file you will get a popup box asking for an
ID and password. Enter the ID and password provided by the developer
(the password might be blank for some classes of user).
