Cant minimize certian window in winxp pro

At work I have a program that we have always been able to minimize (and still
can on otherstations) Now suddenly for some reason we cannot get the program
to minimize. When you click the underscore it looks like its minimizing but
then pops right back up to full screen on its own. The only way we can access
the desktop is to close out the program and open what we want or make sure we
open what were going to use before opening the program witht he problem. Any
idea what what would cause this? Is there a setting somewhere that would make
a program unable to be minimized? Any help would be appreciated.

If you want to see the desktop then you should have an icon in the Quick
Launch bar - just next to START button.

You should also check the properties of shortcut icon on desktop to see
if it says open in NORMAL WINDOW. I doubt if this has anything to do
with it but worth a try.
