Can't login

[in trouble]

I'm not sure if I have a bug or what, but when my computer
boots up, I get the blue Microsoft Windows XP screen with
no login options. My names aren't up there...HELP!

try logging on as an administrator by hitting Ctrl-Alt-Delete when you are on that blue welcome screen. There you should see a box with an admin logon option. Log on, then go to user accounts to creat a new user, making sure to apply admin rights to that account.

Same initial issue, except I can't login... that is, hitting Ctrl-Alt-Delete does nothing... mouse cursor moves, and caps light comes on keyboard... but nothing else...

I am having the SAME problem as PC Yoda... I don't know what to do.
Ctrl-Alt-Delete won't work and it just comes up as a blue windows XP screen
and won't do anything else.

I am having the same problem. Pressing ctrl,alt,delete doesn't do anything

I have the same problem. I tried Ctrl-Alt-Delete (by the way, you have to
press it twice to get the login prompt). I don't know the Administrator
login because this computer was set up at the store. No logins work in the
login box. When I try to boot in Safe Mode, I get the same screen with no
user names. I tried to run a reset password CD, and it reports - No User
Names Found in the Registry!!!
Any help would be appreciated. -pj
