Can't login on certain website

I just got a new computer. Has Windows Vista and IE7. I can browse just fine.
Log in to other sites just fine. I enter the login info and it just returns
back to the first login page. No errors. Someone else said they had this
problem on the site too but that it was something they had to change on their
computer and (figures) he dosen't remember what it was. I'm thinking maybe it
was a setting or something but I have no idea what. The site is a .gov site.
Don't know if that helps or not. I was able to login fine on the old computer
which ran XP.

Try deleting the browsing history: Cookies... I had a similar problem, and
that helped me...

If none of the suggestions work, right click Internet Explorer and click
'Run as Administrator'.

Can you provide a link to the site?
We need to know the URL (site).
It could be a routing problem, in which
case your PC has tools to diagnose the
problem. (ping and pathping)
Or it could be a DNS problem, the
name of the site isn't being converted
to the numerical, dotted quad, IP
address.
Or the site might be down, in which
case none of us will be able to reach it.
