Can't log-in to my laptop

I think my grandchild must have hit a bad key or
something becuase now I can't get into my computer. I
never had a password on my user acount and now it's
asking for one.

I went into safe mode and the administrator account is
also asking for a password. Nothing seems to work.

Can anyone help???

"NOTE: If you have not created a password reset disk and you have also forgotten the password for all user accounts, you cannot log on to your existing Windows installation for security reasons. This information applies to starting Windows XP typically, to Safe mode, and to Recovery Console.
