Ok, I know the deal...I have the lovesan worm on my computer. I
downloaded the patch to disk in order to install it on my computer and
go from there to fix my problem. However, I can't even get windows to
run in safe mode to get in to install it. All I get is a blue screen
and it doesn't let me go any further.

Did anyone else have this problem? How do I get into my OS to install
the patch and then remove the worm?
Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I know it's
stupid, but I put my XP disk in a "safe place" that's now so safe I
can't find it! Not to mention that I really don't want to lose all the
information stored on my computer.

Thanks All

More information on the blue screen error would be helpful in assisting you.

To stop the reboots: Go to Start/Run and type in: services.msc. Scroll down
to Remote Procedure Call (RPC)/Logon/First Failure/Restart the Service.

Installing the patch will *not* help if you're already infected: You must
first download updated virus definitions and run a full system scan to
remove the Trojan before installing the patch.
