I recently installed a new HD and attempted to install Vista Business
Edition, but after following the installation directions from the HD, I
inserted the O/S disk in the CD-RW drive and rebooted. I am now being told
the NTLDR is missing and I do not know what to do now. I have configured the
BIOS to go to the CD-RW first, and still get the NTLDR missing message.
HELP!!

The Windows Vista installation disc is a DVD. Do you
have a DVD player installed?

Yes, I have a DVD-ROM Drive.

Ouch! Could be several mostly simple things to check and fix.
While geared towards XP, this page offers more:

Basically if you did change BIOS to boot from a CD/DVD you generally
get some confirmation it is either doing that very early in the boot
process, watch the screen it can fly by fast or some option to press
some key to force it, be ready to hit it. Otherwise what can happen is
it will default to the next boot option in an effort to start up which
is usually your C or root drive which if brand new and having no OS on
it can cause the error you got.
