Does anyone know why I can't run more than one copy of IE6
on my PC - running windows 98 2nd Edition.

I used to be able to open many browsers but now can only
open one browser. I have installed the latest service
packs, reinstalled IE6 but nothing works. I think it may
have something to do with my registry settings and the
RunOnceEx setting - I have not made any changes to any
registry settings yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Martin.

Go to Tools | Internet Options | Advanced.
Uncheck "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts".

Martin,

Try Frank's advice if you are trying to open new browser window by clicking on a hyperlink. If you are unable to launch another iexplore.exe instance [by clicking on the Internet Explorer icon], you may need to see what browser helper objects are loaded and what is causing this.
