Can't keep my status bar?!?

Hi! I have IE6 running on WinXP Pro. I cannot keep my status bar on my
browser. I turn it on but the next time I open the browser, it's gone.

I have even gone into regedit and changed the string for Show_StatusBar in
the Local User software to "yes" but it changes itself back to "no" an I
still don't get a status bar.

I have rune my virus check and anti-spy. Any thoughts?????

Hi,
The usual solution for this is to enable the Status Bar in both Windows
Explorer and Internet Explorer.
