Can't install XPS Essentials pack for 32 bit XP

Has anyone managed to get the XPS Essentials pack for 32 bit XP to install?

I just get "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A
program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your
support personnel or package vendor."

Thanks for your reply.

Looks like my permissions for the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT hive were messed up!
All I had was:
Everyone: Allow Full Control, Allow Read.

Adding:
SYSTEM: Allow Full Control, Allow Read.

Allowed me to install XPS essentials pack.

Are you able to point me at information on how I can get the permissions for
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT back as they should be?

TIA

Thanks.

I don't seem to have Power Users available as a choice on my PC. Maybe
that's because I have XP Home edition.
