I selected upgrade to wmp10, and started the download. On install, I get a
message saying "this version of windows is not compatible with this version
of wmp" I have XP professional. Also, the download has removed wmp9 from my
system, and I cant re-install that either (same message) I did a syatem
restore to the wmp10 checkpoint with no positive results. Any help would be
appreciated.

Hi Wild Bill,

Navigate to the C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386 folder and locate the
wmploc.dll file. Copy that file to the C:\Windows\System32 folder. Now try
d/loading and installing wmp9 or wmp10.

Regards,

It worked perfectly.....Thanks a million.....WB
