Can't Install Security Update

I just downloaded security update q828750. However, when
I try to install it, I only get a message that
says, "This update requires Internet Explorer 6.0 to be
installed." IE 6.0 IS installed on my computer. It came
installed. Can anyone help?
 
Downloaded it from where?

Do you have Windows Automatic Update installed and running? In IE
Help>About>Update Versions, is Q828750 listed here? Is 'Internet Explorer
Q828750' listed in Add/Remove Programs?

There are several patches available. 1 is for IE6 another for IE6 SP1
Which do you need.? And which did you get ?
