Can't Install OS from CD

I had to install a new boot drive but when I put in the OS setup CD I get the
message that no OS could be found, insert the OS setup disk and press any
key. Any ideas why I can't boot from my OS CD?

In ´BIOS, is your boot order setup to boot from the CD first? And when you
boot the machine, there should come the text "Press any key to boot from
CD". You only have about 1sec time to press any key.....

Did you make the change in BIOS settings to boot from CD? Right now it
sounds like the system is going right to the hard drive to find something
bootable. Change the setting and when you start the system it will either
display a message (something similar to: "press any key to boot from CD")
or it will simply start setup from the CD.

Thank you all, I wasn't pressing enter fast enough. I had the BIOS set to
boot from CD first, but when the message "Boot from CD:" came up I wasn't
pressing enter at that point, I was pressing enter when the next message "To
boot from CD press any key" came up. It was too late at that point.
