Can't install OE-QuoteFix

I've looked for an answer to this one on Google but I've only found it
in foreign language groups.

I can't install OE-QuoteFix192. Windows XP pro, all patched up to
current. When I try to run the install program I get the following
message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error
program H:\OEQuotefix192.exe
abnormal program termination

Any suggestions?

Try, in order:

1. (Re-)Installing 5.6 Scripting Engine from
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/downloads/list/webdev.asp

2a. Start>Run>Regsvr32 vbscript.dll

2b. Start>Run>Regsvr32 jscript.dll

(If running WinXP-SP1a, see this Java/JavaVM page:
http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/answers_9.htm.)

3. Re-register all DLLs listed in http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=281679

You may email Dominic (author of OE-Quote Fix) at (e-mail address removed).

Running the original SP1

Did that and still no go.

I did that still waiting to hear from him.

This is a very perplexing part of a very frustrating week.
