Can't install IE6 b/c of Logo test

Ok I was having major problems with my IE6 it kept on crashing and wen it crashed I had to reboot the comp. I am running Xp Pro btw. So I kept on try and trying to reinstall IE6 and it wouldnt let me. When i tried to do it it would start up and start installing then a message would appear saying That the installation could not be installed because it didnt pass windows logo test. So in uninstalled it then tryed to reinstall and samething showed up. SO now there is more crashing but I cant open up a new page it just becomes blank. Can someone please help me. Thanx

Use the Internet Options applet in Control Panel to change your home page to
About:Blank.
Then eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just

Thx for responding. I did the about:blank thing then used spybot then did all the resolution stuff that microsft said to do and i still doesnt work.
