Anne

I have XP home and cannot load 3 of the 4 programs in my
Adobe publishing pack---only Illustrator 10 will load. I
did have them loaded, then had to reload Windows to fix a
modem problem. Now the programs won't install. I have
tried several methods for installing, none works. The
initial autoplay window opens, but when I
click "install," the CD spins then stops and the autoplay
window does not advance to the install screens. I have
tried installing from Start-Run, Add/Remove new software,
and even copied the disc to my desktop and tried to
install from there. The programs will load just fine on
my old computer with 2000, so the discs are fine. Please
help me!

Hi Anne

Try this: Go to c:\documents and Settings\"your profile
name here"\Local Settings\Temp. Select all the files in
the temp folder and delete them. I personlly have seen
Adobe not install because there were too many temp files
in this folder. Hope this helps.

Anne, go to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel. Uninstall the Adobe
programs. Then go to Start>
Run type: regedit Navigate to Hkey_Current_User\Software
delete the Adobe folder
Navigate to
Hkey_Local_Machine\Software delete the Adobe folder
Finally, look in C:\Program Files and delete the Adobe Folder.
Restart and the install again.
