Can't Input registry ??? How ....

When i set up a game in OS Xp, then i catch up a registry file, and then i
input will pop up that cannot input registry. (Access Denied)

Why ? I must have the reg file to input before i play that game.

In win98 can, why Win XP cannot ?

No email support, you need to keep it in the group, Alvin.

Check permissions on that registry key by right-clicking it. It is likely
that your user account does not have sufficient privileges to write to the
key, or to create the needed key in the registry. If you are installing the
software, you need to install as an administrator, not as a user. To do
this, right click the setup file and use "run as" instead of just
double-clicking it. Then enter an admin username and password.
