Can't hear embedded sound in a saved broadcast

I'm trying to save a web broadcast using outlook 2003. I have embedded a few
audio clips which I can hear just fine while I'm presenting, but the audio
files don't play when I watch the recorded presentation.

I can hear my voice as the narration goes along, but not the embedded clips.

You've landed in the PowerPoint group, but you mentioned Outlook in your
message.

Assuming you really do mean PowerPoint, it kind of depends on how you're
doing this web broadcast. Generally, when you upload slides to a web app
(WebEx, Live Meeting, etc.), you get images of the slides, but stuff like
audio and linked video doesn't transfer.

You may want to contact the support staff of the web broadcasting
application -- I'm sure they've run into this question before.

Yes, I do mean Powerpoint, sorry.

I'm not using any 3rd party resources, just the powerpoint add-in for web
broadcasting which I downloaded from the MS website. Once i record my
presentation I am taken to an internet explorer browser where I can watch the
presentation.

Is anyone aware of a way to embed sounds and make them audible to the
audience on a recorded web broadcast?

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with that add-in. Could you post a link to it?

Here's some info on including sound in PPT on the web. Maybe this is what
you need? http://www.onppt.com/ppt/article1018.html
