Can't hear any sounds

Hello,

I can not hear any sounds from my computer. I have
speakers and they are correctly installed, however there
are no sounds comming out of the speaker. I have checked
the volume on the computer and speaker, and it is
properly adjusted. I hope you can help, I really need
sounds so that my 3 year old daughter can play with her
abc software.

And have you downloaded and installed drivers for your soundcard? Have you
checked in Device Manager to see if it's working properly?
