Can't get Windows Update Automaticlly

Hi, I had SecurIt (Spyware, Virus & Firewall from my ISP) installed on my
computer. I cancelled it a while back and I had the program removed. Since
then I haven't been receiving my windows/Microsoft updates automatically; I
have to manually search for them once in a while in order to keep my system
update. I have automatic updated setup turned on under the security settings.
I assume something is wrong with my registry but I don't what to do to fix
it. Please help! Thanks Jay
