Called ISP (time warner)- and they said to uninstall firewall?

New computer, Windows mail worked when I first put in the information.

Installed AVG anti-virus, now it doesn't work. I used AVG previously with
Outlook and Outlook express without issue.

I also have McAfee on this machine, but haven't activated it yet. It might
be active - but I haven't registered.

Anyone else have this issue? Webmail is annoying.
Thanks,
Pam

I also had problems with MacAfee (preinstalled with a new Dell PC). The
software was incompatible. As soon as as I uninstalled and reinstalled new
AV software the problems went away. is your problem with e-mail or internet
speed?

My problem is getting the mail - it won't come through on Windows mail.

I will go ahead and try uninstalling the AVG and then reinstall.
thanks

Uninstall McAfee. Uninstall AVG, then reinstall it using the custom option
NOT to install the mail scanning module.
