Can't get WIndows Automatic update to work

Hey All

I'm curious about the SP2 update but from what I've seen
and read you can only get it thru Automatic update.
Here's the thing I can't get mine working. It says it's
turned on but I don't get the icon in the task bar. Any
Ideas anyone?

I am also curious, because I have the icon in the task bar, but it says
downloading 0% which I don't understand this. Mine is also turned on.

I have Auto Update also, but, I don't have the icon either.

You can get it in more than one way:

Aug. 18: XP Home users start getting SP2 via Automatic Updates
Aug. 25: All XP users get SP2 via Automatic Updates

Download SP2 as one file and install it that way. This will work for one PC or
multiple PCs.

Wait for the CD, maybe in October. This web page will have links

The delivery of SP2 is being phased in. Not everyone will get it by AU
right away. Be patient, alot of people want it and MS is controlling
how many can each day to distribute the load.
