cant get to "windowsupdate" site

Hi , i am unable to get
to "v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com" site , at the bottom
of the window it says "opening http:// etc tec " and then
nothing , no page , just "this page cannot be displayed",
i have no trouble getting to other sites , and i am not
sure if this is a coinsidence or not but i havent been
able to get to windowsupdate since installing the msblast
patch from microsoft ????.

[button]>Require server verification (https for all sites in this zone
(uncheck). In the "Add this Web site to the zone:" field, add the following
entries to list of Trusted Sites:

http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
https://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
http://download.windowsupdate.com

and

*.akamai.net [eff.16-Aug-03]
