Hi Steve
Try the following and see if it helps:
IE wont display and "https" sites
Courtesy of Don Varnau -
Try this... Start> Run
iexplore.exe /rereg
[Enter]
This will reregister all IE DLLs. (OK... it's a long shot.)
Or, you could uninstall SP2 from one machine to see if the problem goes
away
or..............
Can't access HTTPS Pages
Open IE
Click Tools>Internet Options>Connections>LAN Settings>Advanced
In the box labeled "Exceptions" type in "https://" (without the quotes).
That should exclude proxy operations from nearly ALL secure sites. If you
put in a specific
site, this will exclude just that site, but if you put in just the part as
specified above, it will exclude ANY site that uses the https addressing
scheme.

How to make a good newsgroup post:
http://www.dts-l.org/goodpost.htm
On a Windows XP Home machine running IE6 SP1 I cannot access secure pages
(HTTPS) nor can I get to windowsupdate.microsoft.com. The error on the
windowsupdate is an ActiveX error, but I have even set the security to low.
I have run Ad-Aware, Spybot and CWShredder. I still have this issue. Any
ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve
