Can't get out of SAFE MODE!

I've used F8 and #1 for Normal Mode... but I keep getting Safe Mode.
What's happening and how do I get out of this? I'm using Windows
Millennium. Thanks and Happy New Year.

This newsgroup focuses on Windows 2000. I recommend
you try a Windows ME newsgroup - it's a completely
different operating system!
 
Start, run, Msconfig, uncheck Bootsafe.

in the future try asking in a group dealing with WinME as in Windows
Millennium, as opposed to Win2000 for Windows 2000.
