We have always had problems getting our third computer online. My son showed
me how to find the error message on computer #1 and it is:
The master browser has received a server announcement from the computer %2
that believes that it is the master browser for the domain on transport %3.
The master browser is stopping or an election is being forced.
I have researched and tried many different things to no avail. Is there a
simple fix? (or not so simple?)
All computers run on Windows XP. Computer #1 works fine, computer #2
connects wirelessly fine, computer #3 always has problems. The computers are
all clean, no viruses or ad/mal/spyware. None of them can get into each other
through the network either. I did get computer #3 online breifly today after
re-running the Network Setup Wizard, but then I lost it. The LAN on all
three are showing that they are working at 100 Mbps. We have a Linksys
router and DSL modem. Had the same problem before DSL.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
