Can't get on the Internet

I cannot connect to the Internet via my Broadband connection anymore because
of a disaster during a MS upgrade last week. I have almost everything back,
but I'm missing the following devices:

Wan Minport (IP)
Wan Miniport (L2TP)
Wan Miniport (PPPOE)
Wan Miniport (PPPTP)

I have been asking this question for days now. I don't think anybody knows
what I'm talking about. I am looking for the hidden devices you see under
Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager. They are gone. The PC I am
working on now has them, but whatever happened has wiped them out on my PC.
That is why Broadband Connection is Unavailable...I need the devices.

So, Microsoft Gurus, where are these devices. How do I get them back. I
have been working for days trying to figure this out. I even tried
reinstalling XP, but those devices still aren't there. I'm gonna look
around on this PC to figure out what and where they are. I used to have
them. So where are they now. What are their names.

Please help me!!!!
