Can't get my files and printer shared with Norton Anti Virus and Autoprotect

I've Norton Antivirus (NAV) and two PC's in a network connected by a
modem/router. One PC has XP and one has W98SE. NAV runs on the W98SE
PC. When NAV runs with autoprotect on I can share files and printers on
the XP machine. Vice versa is not possible. When NAV (on the W98SE
machine) runs without autoprotect vice versa is possible, so I can
share
file & printservices on both machines!!!!!!!!!!! Is this a bug in W98SE
or am I
doing something wrong within NAV??

Check the properties of Norton to see if it is doing any sort of IP
filtering when enabled which it sounds like it is. You may also want to post
on a Norton forum giving the specific information of what version of Norton
you are using. --- Steve
