Cant get into IE at all !!!! Please help

I cant get into IE at all. I have WINXP and currently
accessing the net thru aol dsl. But I have not been able
to access any secure sites and also cant get into IE ver
6...any help would be appreciated.

From IE> Tools> Internet Options
or
Control Panel> Internet Options> Advanced> uncheck "Enable third party
browser extensions."

If IE then functions, go to http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm and
start working through the solutions.

Browser extensions can be re-enabled after cleanup.
