Browser does not support SSL

Please help.
I'm having trouble using my internet banking. I've
recently had service pack 2 installed with IE 6, and now
i cant access my internet banking. I can access the site
ok, but trying to log on, the second window opens with a
blank page. i looked into it and got an error
message 'Browser does not support SSL'. Brouser does not
meet security requirements for accessing digital
banking', with the solution as 'use either IE version 4
and up, Netscape Navigator 4 and up, Mozilla 1.5 and up,
or AOL 6.0 and up'. I already have IE version 6 and i've
allowed pop-ups for that site.
Can anyone help?

Your browser is likely messed up. Download Netscape or Firefox at
www.mozilla.org until you can get a fix.

You did not mention which version of Windows you have, but, try the
following and see if something here will help.

Can't Display Page

In Internet Explorer -
1. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
2. Scroll down to the Security Settings.
3. Make sure that the two boxes are checked that say
"Enable SSL 2" or "Enable SSL 3".
Try your secure sites.

Another thing you can try is:
Go to start/run
Type in: regsvr32 softpub.dll
Press Enter or click OK

or ...............

Check C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc for a file named HOSTS with no
extension. (Not Hosts.sam)
Make sure Windows is set to show hidden files and folders and is NOT set to
hide extensions for known file types.
If HOSTS exists, rename it to HOSTS.OLD
Reboot an try again.

Or, In a Cmd window, enter
ipconfig /flushdns
then clear your TIF also, and re-boot.

also try the information here..........
