Can't get email to work

Hi, I found where the ansers are on this site. I can't get te mail to work.
Here is the error message:

The host 'stmp.west.cox.net' could not be found. Please verify that you have
entered the server name correctly.
Subject 'test', Account: 'pop.west.cox.net', Server: 'stmp.west.cox.net',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11001, Error
Number: 0x800CCC0D

I was able to set up Microsoft Outlook just fine (to receive mail) then I
remembered (frm setting it up on another computer using Vista) that you
can't SEND emails on a computer via Outlook using Vista, hence I am trying
to set up microsoft mail.

Just an observation.....

Looks like you may have made a typo:

Ther error says...
"The host 'stmp.west.cox.net' could not be found"

Try changing stmp to smtp
