Cant get at my EMail

please can you help
I am having trouble accessing my email fro our new lap top..............well
i cant access it at all actually.
i have tried on tools..............accounts.............and then added
pop3.blueyonder.co.uk and smtp.blueyonder.co.uk but from there on i cant
seem to get through the user name then password even though i have just
entered it.

Do you get an error message when you try to send or receive? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

Iam getting the foillowing error messages when I attempt to send/receive
e-mail. can you advise please?

Error message:

1. The host 'frank' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered
the server name correctly

(SSL), No, Socket Error: 11001 Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

2. The host 'frank' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered
the server name correctly.

Secure (SSL), No, Socket Error: 11001 Error Number:0x800CCC0D

The above occurred when I first attempeted to log onto to windows e-mail. I
typed in 'frank' because i did not know what else to do?

Well, "frank" is not the correct server name.
Your email account provider should have a help page on their website with
the correct server names and settings.
If you tell us who it is, perhaps someone can help.
