Can't get an e-mail to send from the outbox

I have an email in my outbox that I want to send. It won't send, delete or
anything. I get a message about an unknown error and something about disc
space.
All I want to do now is get rid of this e-mail as now anything I send gets
put into the outbox and I have to try and send it from there.
I have Windows Internet Explorer and Windows Vista.

Move any mail that will, from the Outbox to your Drafts folder, send them
later from there.

A fix as been released by M$ to resolve the problem of undeletable Outbox
mails:

"Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista"

Have you visited Windows Update recently, if not do so.
