Can't Get Access to My Network Places

When I try to view the contents of the My Network Places contents
xp says I don't have access to these folder(s) (I don't remember the exact
phrase)
and tells me to go to the Administration Tools. I'm the only user on this
computer.
How can I access My Network Places?

The exact error message would be helpful. You mean you can not access My
Network Places or network resources shown in it such as shares, shortcuts,
and computers?? --- Steve
