cant format

i cant format my hard drive not even puting in quick
restore disk works i went to computer manager and right
clicked hard drive and it didnt show format there need
help if ny one can tell me how to format using quick
restore or even just formatting

You can format your hard drive using the WinXPCD. Just select Boot from
CD as first option in the Bios. You can
also Format from the Recovery Console.
