Can't find personal folders file

D

Don

Using Outlook 2003. When I try to open Outlook, I get a
can't find personal folders file error message, naming a
nonexistent drive E. Then, when I show Outlook where
outlook.pst is located, it tells me this is not a
personal folders file. I used scanpst.exe to fix some
errors in outlook.pst, but still get the same message.

Any ideas?

You may want to try creating a new .pst file and not importing any old data
and testing. If the problem does not happen with a new .pst file then try
importing your data from the old .pst file. If the problem returns then you
may just have to use a new .pst file without importing the old data. If a
new .pst file does not work then you may want to try a profile in Outlook.
If you need any detailed instructions on how to do any of these things let
me know.

I hope this information is helpful.
