VERY long story short...
My machine's motherboard got messed up. I bought a new
machine, installed Office XP Small Biz, then slaved my
original hard drive in the new box. However, I can't
seem to get Outlook to recognize/find my old inbox. What
files should I be looking for or how can I do this?
Unfortunately, I didn't regularly archive my
inbox/personal folder structures, so there's no .pst
files on the old drive. They have to be there somewhere,
though, right??? I can't ever seem to find anything that
makes sense in MS Knowledgebase - can anyone direct me
pls?

Thx!!

The normal search for PST files with XP might not show them. Try using the
advanced options.

For Windows 2000 and XP, Outlook's files are stored in hidden folders.
Enable showing hidden files and folders and search the old HD for *.pst.
Also, see http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm for information on all
the files Outlook uses and how to move them from one PC to another.
