Can't find Outlook Express .dbx files

"properties" of email messages in Outlook express shows a path to the .dbx
fie, but I cannot navigate to it from "My Computer". Also when I search my
hard drive for .dbx files the search cannot find any. I am trying to
transfer emails from a dead computer to Windows mail in my new computer.

Express is supported within the IE groups, this group supports Outlook, a
completely different program

Your old hd needs to be connected as a slave, or in an external drive
casing, to your working PC, before you can recover anything

That's because the DBX files are in a normally hidden folder. Enable
viewing hidden files and folders in Folder Options of Control Panel, using
the View tab. And finish your questions, as DL points out, in an Outlook
Express newsgroup.
