can't find downloaded iso

Terry

Ok I'm running the 64bit version of Vista. I downloaded the iso TWICE now
and no matter how I look I can,t find the file.
I changed the folder options to show hidden and sys files and used admin
privs to search and no luck.
I do have another copy Iburned with my other XP machine but I need to find
and remove the 2 iso's that are on the test machine
because the 7 gigs they are hiding are eating too much of my left over
space.
any one have a working solution??

Search for (*.iso) or all files created in that day; the long file name:
vista_5600.16384.060829-2230_x86fre_client-lr1cfre_en_dvd.iso

They were saved in a "virtual file". While I had the download manager open
I created a shortcut to the file. The download manager or my Pre-RC1 Vista
wouldn't allow me to save it anywhere else. Some people have started a new
download and stopped it after they find the location it is using to save the
next file. It is on your hard drive somewhere hiding in something that
looks like a temprorary internet file folder.

C:\USERS\YOUR_NAME\LOCAL SETTINGS\TEMP\LOW\... somewhere there

that's where IE stores most of its downloaded stuff ( LOW = "low rights" =
"protected mode on" )

The dir is only accessible as Administrator ( I use totalcommander for that
as Explorer doesn't let me run as Admin )
